About Coaching

What is Coaching?

People, much like you, seek coaching because they want to achieve new heights, accomplish their dreams, and live out their purpose in life. Coaching is for people who want to fine-tune their leadership skills by first leading themselves with all excellence. By "with all excellence" we mean to excel in quality “what we do”, cause superiority, compared to our earlier work. To paraphrase what a gifted speaker, Krish Dhanam, said, "Success is not defined by the person sitting next to us, but by where we are in comparison to what we started out with."

Coaching is for anyone who finds themselves in a “rut” and wants to get clear on their vision, purpose and goals.

Coaching is about change. Change will happen whether we accept it or not.  Through coaching we can begin to take deliberate, consistent, and persistent small daily steps that create change that invites EXCELLENCE, SUCCESS, JOY and LIVING OUT LOUD.

Coaching looks at our desired future, assessing where we are today and determining the best way to get there.

Coaching is YOU-driven and Coach-supported. A coach comes alongside you as your accountability partner; provoking you to see things from differing perspectives and exploring the answers that are already within you. What the coach brings to the table is training, experience, encouragement and a genuine commitment to your growth.

In the book Leadership Coaching, Tony Stoltzfus, states "Coaching is practicing the disciplines of believing in people in order to empower them to change."

Are You Ready for Coaching?
In the book Leadership Coaching, Tony Stoltzfus, states "Coaching is practicing the disciplines of believing in people in order to empower them to change."

Paraphrasing Dr. Leelo-Dianne Bush of
PCCCA in their training and certification manual on page 7, in order for coaching to be successful one must agree to the following 3 things:

1. There are one or more areas of your life or business that you want to be successful.
2. Willing to be transparent by allowing someone from the outside (i.e. the coach) into your “world” to help.
3. Willing to make some changes, do things differently than in the past and/or think about things differently.
